DISH and Fox have made steady progress in their recent negotiations and DISH hoped to reach a mutual agreement to renew the transportation of their local stations. In this sense, DISH Fox proposed a short-term contract extension, which would involve a retroactive review if new tariffs were agreed and DISH and Sling TV customers had the opportunity to access Fox channels while negotiations continued. The true-up would ensure that Fox is complete for the contract renewal period at the new rates.
